This is one of the coolest Airbnb's we have ever stayed at! We loved the serene surroundings and steam vents trail. The hot tub-plunge pool combo was fantastic after a day of exploring! It truly felt like we were away from the world. Highly recommend!

What a slice of paradise!!
The most beautiful property and wonderful cottage. Surrounded by citrus, banana, orchids, ferns, palms and every tropical plant imaginable, the puna rainforest retreat was even more wonderful than we expected.
The steam heated tub where the cherry on top. We will definitely be back!

This was the most incredible place we stayed in our whole vacation to the big island. The rainbow cottage was comfortable and equipped with everything that we needed. The walk on the trails behind the cabins was simply incredible. It was magical. Gorgeously maintained grounds, natural steam vents. Enticing tubs built around natural hot springs. I hope to come here again someday, it was one of the most memorable parts of our vacation.

We could not have imagined a more perfect place to stay. It is rurally located a couple of miles from the small town of Pahoa.

Jacklynn is warm, helpful and friendly, while also being respectful of your space. The property area is ample, quiet, private, with lovely walkable grounds. Secluded hot tubs are magical for stargazing and watching sunrises. Our cottage was simple and sweet—zen-like.

Finally, the information book for guests is useful and has good all around information to acquaint guests to the area. If we ever return to Hawaii, we will definitely secure our stay at Jacklynn’s place again.

I don’t think words can describe this place. It was absolutely amazing. It’s an absolute gem we had an amazing time exploring the area. The hot tubs and pool are so enjoyable to use. The stars at night are a sight to see. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas and just want some peace and quiet.

We were lucky to stay in the Rainbow Cottage. It was clean and comfortable and provided a unique opportunity to experience Hawaii in a beautiful and secluded setting. The property is exceptional and very well maintained.
It was a fun to hike the nearby trail and feel the heat from the steam vents and get a volcanic facial. We appreciated reading about the native and non native species of plants.
The hot pools and cold plunge pool topped off the day. The stars were so bright and vivid, because there is so little light pollution. This was an unforgettable visit.

Would stay again, lots of room to roam. Beautiful views, amazing hospitality, definitely take advantage of the (extra fee) on site massage. Host had amazing communication before and during stay with helpful recommendations. I wish we would have stayed here longer than we did. Next time I think we’re scrapping the other side of the island and going directly here.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at one of Jacklynn's cabins on her property. The house is one of the cleanest and tidiest we've stayed at, and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The grounds are very beautiful and we enjoyed using the hot tubs. Jacklynn also responded very quickly to our questions. Would highly recommend!

Puna Rainforest Retreat Hotspring is truly one of the most beautiful Airbnb properties I’ve ever stayed at. Nestled in the lush rainforest, the property features stunning orchards, a thriving vegetable garden, and a serene trail that made our stay feel like a true escape into nature. Our host, Jacklyn, has clearly poured a lot of love and care into maintaining this special place. She was incredibly warm and welcoming, generously offering us fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the farm. It was such a unique and thoughtful touch that made our experience even more memorable. Our whole family had a wonderful time here, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the natural beauty of the property. If we return to the Big Island, there’s no question—we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a magical and relaxing getaway.

this place is more than described. it is amazing , quite, unique property. beautiful place and such earthy, green environment. the night life simply becomes alive at night and all the night sounds just put you into a peaceful sleep. the amazing dunking pool was spectacular and huge hit with my kiddos. the hot tubs are amazing as well. we are so very happy with our stay.

Jacklynn’s place was a piece of paradise! The bungalow was spotless clean and and nicely decorated. The garden is full of fruit trees and flower, very big and so peaceful. We loved the jungle trail! It was so beautiful and private! We also enjoyed the hot tub! Jacklynn was a perfect host: responsive, kind and always smiling. We felt immediately at home and our daughter loved her nice dog! She also recommended some local restaurant. We definitely recommend a stay at Jacklynn’s amazing place!

We absolutely loved our stay! Our host was super responsive, so incredibly nice, checked in several times during the week, and had great recommendations for an off the beaten path waterfall to swim in, or a beach close by, when we asked for recommendations. The property is STUNNING and the house had every amenity we could have needed. When we had questions or issues she responded to messages within minutes and was onsite within the hour to show us how to do the things she recommended. Would love to come stay again!
